‘We were a bit lost’: Sergio Perez determined to bounce back at Red Bull with ’10 races to turn it around’

As the drivers prepare for this weekend’s Dutch Grand Prix, Red Bull is locked in a tight battle for the constructors’ crown, with McLaren And Ferrari are close behind. If Perez can repeat his early-season form, his team could be that much closer to securing a third consecutive team championship.

He said: “I want to perform at my best and I know I can turn my season around. I always say that the only thing that matters is where I finish in Abu Dhabi, so I still have 10 races to turn things around and hopefully get some good results and finish on a high. That would be the goal, and it really starts here.

“I just want to get back to the form I had at the beginning of the year. I was constantly scoring podiums, fighting for pole positions. I want to get back to that.”

“As a team, I want Red Bull to be the fastest car. We were the fastest car at the beginning of the year and I want to work together with the team to get to that point. That’s what we need.”
