In a new interview, producer Ritesh Sidhwani has revealed that ‘Don 3’ is still at the scripting stage. He also told that at this time he has no idea about the story of this action thriller film. Ritesh says, ‘We will not do anything until my partner (Farhan Akhtar) finishes writing it. Right now he is in the phase of finishing the script of the film. We all are also eagerly waiting to see ‘Don’.
Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani made the Shahrukh starrer films ‘Don’ and ‘Don 2’. Both the films were produced under his production house Excel Entertainment. Farhan has also been the director of both these films. Farhan and Ritesh’s production house bought the rights of Amitabh Bachchan’s 1978 film Don. In the original film, Bachchan was accompanied by Zeenat Aman, Pran and Om Shivpuri along with other stars.
Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Don’ came in the year 2006. After this ‘Don 2’ was released in 2011. In the first film, Priyanka Chopra, Isha Koppikar, Boman Irani and Om Puri worked with King Khan. Kareena Kapoor gave a special appearance in it. In the second film, Lara Dutta and Kunal Kapoor were there. There is no update regarding who will be seen in the third film.

Shahrukh was seen in the film ‘Pathan’. On 25 January 2023, this film was released in cinemas worldwide. The film got a lot of love from the fans and collected more than 500 crores at the box office. Now King Khan is coming with his film ‘Jawan’. Nayantara will be with him in this film being directed by South director Atlee. South star Vijay Sethupathi will be the villain of the film. Shahrukh is also working in director Rajkumar Hirani’s film ‘Danki’.
