This post has me in tears. I immediately began to intercede in prayer for you concerning your beautiful granddaughter. God WILL provide an opportunity for you to spend quality time with you. I'm sure you have spoken to God about this situation. He answers our cry. Grandparenting has been my second greatest assignment. Parenting is number one. I too have taken my God given assignment as a grandmother, seriously. When I thought I couldn't possibly love any deeper. God blessed me with a wonderful grandSUN. And his light is radiant. I speak the same words to him that I spoke to his father, "I can't even remember what I was doing in life before you arrived." Life began with my beautiful seeds. I know this season in life is difficult for you but God will heal you. This too shall pass.
You are definitely a blessing to others. God is in control, yet & still HE will not lose or quit in His care & intervening in yours & the grand children's lives. God continue to comfort & keep you our brother.

When my children's dad passed away, I never once kept them away from his grandparents. Anytime they wanted to come and get them I would let them. That helped me in turn. I think that you and Storm's mother need to sit down and talk. Otherwise, you may need to talk to a lawyer about grandparents rights in terms of visitation.

Very great dad. Rickey, it's nothing like a 2nd chance raising kids. I use to work at Wal mart years ago, a old white man walked through the door with a beautiful T-shirt on that read, I'm having so much fun with my grandkids, til I wish I had them first. 😂
I had to ask him, what is it about those grands that have your heart? He say, it's something you can't explain. He say, I can tell you this, I get to do for them what I couldn't do for my kids, also, I help spoil them, then send them back home. 😂

The tone in your voice when you said…. I “miss her” is piercing in my ears. I can feel the sting in my soul. Knowing your child is no where walking on this earth has a traumatic psychological impact on your mind. Being unable to see your grandchildren… granddaughter is unthinkable!

Praying for you and precious Storm who needs you consistently in her life. Sadly, our society often underestimates a child's trauma over the loss of a parent, sibling or close friend. Only after the parents/guardians remove "their feelings" out of the equation, the needs of the hurting child will be the priority. PERIOD…. End of story! Praying for God to move on this distressing issue with the quickness!!🙏🏽
I appreciate and understand you on this one Rickey Smiley. In 2009 I lost my son, and not to physical death, but prison. He will never come out alive. But, it was the caring of my grandchildren that pulled me from darkness! I don’t know what would have happened to me if they were not there!
Like you, today I have accessibility issues. After pouring into them, their mother began doing the unthinkable. Turning them against me, and they really loved me. They were all that I had left. And now I can’t have a relationship with them anymore. It’s time to tend to me now Rickey. I have had enough!

Grandparents are an essential part of a child's life. I am the woman I am today because of a God fearing, loving Grandmother. My time with Big Mama was the best time of my life. And in turn I am the same for my grandbabies. I cherish the time I spend with them & the bond we share. Stay prayerful Mr Smiley , God will work it out for you! In Jesus Name!!
