Dr Audrey Kinahan, pharmacist from University Pharmacy, and Aoife NI Eochaidh, physiotherapist from International Pelvic Physiotherapy Management, are running a seminar for mums-to-be and new mums. The seminar will be held in the Galway Bay Hotel, Salthill, on Tuesday, May 16 from 7pm to 9pm. Audrey and Aoife will be giving their top tips for pregnancy and post-natal health.
This seminar is for anyone with an interest in health care in the pregnancy and post-natal life stages (no matter how long ago you had your baby ).
Dr Audrey Kinahan, PhD, BSc (Pharm ), Dip FM, MPSI, primarily works as a practising community pharmacist in University Pharmacy Galway, and in medicine’s regulation where she is listed by the European Medicines Agency as an expert. She holds a first-class honours degree in pharmacy (1991 ) and PhD (1995 ) from Trinity College Dublin and is a fellow of the Royal Irish Academy of Medicine in Ireland.
Aoife Ni Eochaidh, chartered physiotherapist and clinical specialist in women’s and men’s pelvic health, is a multi-award-winning physiotherapist. Her private pelvic women’s and men’s health physiotherapy practice is located at the Bon Secours Consultant Clinic in Galway, and she has a second clinic in Dublin. Aoife provides expert physiotherapy assessment and treatment for men and women with pelvic floor muscle dysfunctions including incontinence (bladder and bowel ), pelvic organ prolapse, obstructed defecation, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, and osteoporosis. She uses innovative technology approaches with her patients to ensure optimal results. Aoife says no amount of leakage is normal, a 100-year-old muscle can be trained, and a good pelvic floor is important for everyone.
