You won’t believe how ChatGPT AI changed Skyrim forever!

Somebody added ChatGPT AI to Skyrim VR in the form of a mod and it will transform the Skyrim gameplay, NPC reactions, …

  1. I hope this will be compatible with SkyrimVR down the road. It'll help people who struggle with social communication. Like for example I struggle with social anxiety. And when I signed into Skyrim VR for the FIRST TIME when I first bought it. I can say. Omg. It felt like I was being looked at by the NPCs and literally was making my anxiety go through the roof. Etc. imagine having other AI mods installed with this. Like Citizens of Skyrim or something similar. That won't break the game. That would be amazing! Do you know if this mod works for Skyrim SE or just for the Anniversary Edition ATM or should both be fine?

  2. Give me a vr headset with Skyrim, one of those vr walking booths, a mic to talk to the AI NPC's and access to all the existing mods and I will be able to live the rest of my life inside the game.

  3. It's actually amazing to me how crappy this sounds. It's 2024. We've had this computer speech stuff for over 40 years, yet here we are listening to the juttery shakey sounding voices still.

  4. Only problem I see with this is. Will there be rules that prevent the AI from doing things? Say you download a mod for a companion character and its description is that it's an assassin. Will the AI then adhere to that logic and start killing people when your off on a quest. Dragonborn: "Finally got the stone tablet, just need to turn it in." Quest Failed Alert. Dragonborn: "Wait what? How?" Dragonborn goes to whiterun and finds the alchemist guy dead.

  5. See, this is becoming a "Mod pack" for the "What-if-Machine" Prof.Farnsworth made in/on Futurama. . . I like it, but I don't like thinking of what "They" are going to do with it, how they'll restrict the possibilities that could arise from people RP-ing generating their own Lore, instead of EVERYBODY being Mature, allowing it but not recognizing it as Cannon, effectively Hijacking it from the Creators/Authors etc. . . Might be kinda hard to make everybody feel like a "Mack daddy mcbadass" in an MMO with this kinda stuff. . . but there's always "Party Play". . . I'm picturing THIS (in the video here) combined with Skyrim Together 🤯but I don't have friends that play, and don't want to make nice with online acquaintances lol.

  6. GPT added to games so far, such as in this example are not quest functional, but it is possible to use conversations to animations if Devs use modular functions that represent animated interactions For example, any relevant dialogue the player transmit to bartender will lead to bartender using reusable bartender interactions of serving the player with a drink or reading a existing menu showing player what items the tavern sells. Repeat this pattern per idea, now we have human level conversations with NPC's merged with animated results. We'll call this the conversation to interaction process.
