(Belmont BEC) is organizing the 30th Annual Belmont & Western Australian Small Business Awards, scheduled for November 1, 2023.

The Belmont & Western Australian Small Business Awards are an opportunity for small businesses to showcase themselves and the impact they have on their communities, attract new business opportunities, get media coverage, and foster a sense of enthusiasm and loyalty in their staff. Support and Mentorship for Entrants

Potential entrants will be able to access a wide range of support to prepare their submissions, including free award ticket submission kits, webinars, workshops, and access to award mentors who can advise entrants on preparing award presentations to impress the panel of judges.

The Friends of Belmont BEC would like to acknowledge the joint donor support of Hannah Beazley MLA, Cassie Rowe MLA, Samantha Rowe MLC, and Geoff Baker MLA for sponsorship of the Corporate Social Responsibility Award. Belmont BEC has delivered its Count Me IN Disability Employment Awareness information to over 3,000 business participants in Belmont and the Perth metropolitan region over the past few years, aiming to help employers ‘break down the barriers’ when considering employment for the disabled.

The 30th Annual Belmont & Western Australian Small Business Awards officially opened at Empire Bar in Lathlain on May 31, 2023. The Belmont & Western Australian Small Business Awards are coordinated by Belmont Business Enterprise Center Inc. (Belmont BEC), who is celebrating 30 years of opportunities, training and mentoring helping WA small businesses; and has the support of the main sponsors: – City of Belmont and the Textile, Clothing and Footwear Resource Center of WA (TCFWA).

Small businesses account for 97.2% of all businesses in Western Australia, with 223,524 small businesses contributing over $54 billion to the economy annually.
