  1. My account currently has the older “Chronicle research preview” interface, while the video demonstrates the newer “Computer History” interface. When do I get it? Is this a staged roll out? I'm on ver.26.803.61601

  2. They release that video as if this is a feature we can use, but then they don't show how you get to it. I'm looking at my version of GPT, which is up‑to‑date, and I can't find this feature anywhere. Yes, I'm a paid subscriber with Max.

  3. It would be far better if, instead of just dealing with computer history, ChatGPT could accurately diagnose issues such as operating system glitches, software problems, or hardware malfunctions and provide the best possible solutions for them. I have seen this in old science fiction movies, where the spacecraft's supercomputer detects a fault anywhere on the vessel and alerts the pilot.

  4. ChatGPT identified me as applicable for heightened security mode. My data isn't used for training, email notification on login, mandatory passkey for login.

And, honestly, I'm not 100% sure if that's good or bad lol

  5. Why is the voice synthesis still so bad? Still very stilted and at like 0:30 you can STILL hear subtle glitches in the output. Someone has to pioneer this particular medium as its potential is obviously far greater than text.

  6. Kudos that they didn't lie about the demo being heavily accelerated, they didn't edit out the response times (56s, 32s, etc.). So far this is not faster than a human would do it, but of course it's a delegated task, so you can work on other stuff while AI is doing this in the background.

  7. Capturing interaction events instead of screen data is sound. But the repo upload incident (5.1 GB for a 192 KB task) showed data flows exceed what users understand. Controls aren't contractual guarantees.
