Delco Chamber Announces 2024 Small Business Awards

The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the 2024 Small Business Awards honorees.

Awards will be presented at a luncheon on April 3, 2024 at Drexelbrook Catering and Special Events from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. For tickets, visit www.delcochamber.org.

This annual awards luncheon, a signature event of the chamber, is designed to celebrate outstanding businesses and their impact on both the economy and community of the Delaware County area. The audience will include local business leaders, Chamber investors, elected officials, Chamber board members and the honorees’ businesses, family and friends.

Carley Razzi is the president of Penns Woods Winery in Chadds Ford. As a notable figure in the Pennsylvania wine community and an avid supporter of Pennsylvania agriculture, Carley’s primary mission is to expand recognition of Pennsylvania wines wherever she goes.

She strongly believes in cultivating a strong community bond by supporting, empowering and advocating for local businesses and their dynamic leaders.

Entrepreneur of the year: Leon and Renee Beverly, owners of The D3LCO Effect

Our names are Leon and Renee Beverly, owners of The D3LCO Effect, where we captivate the reality and unique lifestyle of Delco by transforming our favorite Delco-isms into warm, inviting candle scents.

Our vision is to create soy wax-based candles with local, clean ingredients while encompassing Delco pride in all of our collections.

Economic Driver of the Year: WSFS Bank

We partnered with Philadelphia Union to bring the WSFS Bank Sportsplex to Chester to create a positive economic impact for the city and its small businesses, to create a place where players can collaborate and thrive on the values ​​of sports, and to offer a beautiful place where the community can organize fun and safe events.

Culture creator: Keenya Cain, owner of Shugar Shack Soulfood

Keenya Cain, owner of Shugar Shak Soulfood, received the Culture Creator Award from the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce for her commitment to the Delaware County community.

Keenya plays a vital role as Economic Development Chair of the Delaware County Black Caucus, is a Hall of Fame winner for Entrepreneur Works, a Taste of Success winner for Philadelphia Treasure and also a Stone Crest Festival winner.

“The reason I can keep going is because I am my ancestors’ wildest dream. I pray that my lineage will reap and also sew in the next generations so that our legacy can continue. “ said Keenya Cain.
