Only question I have with this is, if this thing is tied to a cloud based service. Meaning does it have to call home. Or optionally is the software for this OpenSource where you could tweak/rebuild it. I had wanted a Cozmo but when the company behind it went bust, they were basically bricked.

I hope they can add 'personalities' as to how they answer the questions. So after chatGPT provided the answers, it will filter the whole sentence into the selected personalities and change the wordings. For example, when asked "what is the meaning of cute?" it can answer with "is me". Or using the doge language when asked about life, "very subjective, much confused".

chat GPT is not Wikipedia, it is not made to answer knowledge questions, it is a chat engine, it can answer in a natural way. better questions should be "i am sad today, how can you cheer me up" "can you tell me a story about a fairy and a cat" or start some kind of long conversation. This is the core competence of chat GPT.
