Hidden in a little yellow trailer in Dorchester, Eastern Espresso serves creative matchas, coffees, soft drinks and more.
We recently stopped by and chatted with owners Najma and Naima, two sisters who founded Espresso East and focused on quality beverages, sustainability, supporting other small businesses, and creating a welcoming space for the Dorchester community.
The sisters also take their ingredients seriously. They source their matcha directly from a small farmer in Japan whom they met during a visit. The menu changes with the seasons, mixing classics with fun and unique flavors, so there’s always something new to try.
Espresso East also has a great outdoor seating area with counter seating and a rooftop spot overlooking the park. It’s a perfect place to have a drink, get some work done, or just hang out.
