Fortnite returns to the US App Store

The popular Battle Royale Fortnite game has finally returned to the US App Store.

Until Tuesday, Fortnite is Also available in the epic and Altstore game store in the EU. It will soon appear at App Store, Epic said in an X publication.

Apple eliminated Fortnite of the App Store in 2020 After Epic added an option for people to make purchases in the game using the EPIC virtual currency, for which the company offered a 20%discount. Epic then went to the offensive and sued Apple.

A judge ruled in favor of Epic, finding that Apple was in “intentional violation” of rules that prohibit anticompetitive prices. Last month, that judge said Apple should allow developers to collect payments outside the app store and not impose rates on them.

After the decision, Epic was forwarded Fortnite to the App Store – But faced an approval delay. The company accused Apple of Blocking The Game of Going Live in the United States and the EU.

Earl this week, the US district judge Yvonne González Rogers said in a presentation that Apple Should approve the presentation of Epic or show that he had a legal basis to block it. That possibly inclined things in favor of Epic.
