Househunters have been left baffled after coming across a ‘bizarre’ home for sale on Rightmove with a living room covered in beer cans. The seemingly ordinary three-bed house has caused a stir online after a TikTok user noticed its strange interior.

The semi-detached property is on the market in Runcorn, Cheshire, with a guide price of £185,000. The average price for a property in Runcorn is £191,650 over the last year, according to Rightmove.

What looks like a fairly normal abode from the outside is soon found to be rather unique as internal pictures show beer cans such as Stella Artois and Fosters strung from the floor to the ceiling, with not an ounce of the wall to be seen in the living room.

Elsewhere, the kitchen is strewn with rubbish and there are some random objects lying around the home, from binoculars looking out of the downstairs window to England flags hanging down from the ceiling.

Despite its unusual appearance, estate agents Ready Steady Sold who are marketing the property, despite it as a ‘ideal family home’, with a ‘spacious and well-proportioned layout’.

The listing highlights the home’s ‘updated and contemporary’ kitchen and bathroom, ‘modern comforts’ and its ‘larger than average’ garden.

The property description reads: “Stepping inside, you’ll find a well-maintained and tastefully decorated interior, with generous living spaces that cater perfectly to modern family life. The kitchen has been modernized with an integrated hob and oven, while the bathroom is fitted with a contemporary suite, including an electric shower for added convenience.”

Sharing their findings on social media, TikTok user @housinghorrors posted a video on the platform with the caption ‘I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS’. They then proceeded to go through the images on Rightmove whilst speaking about what he saw.

“I’ve just found this house on Rightmove and the walls are covered in beer cans. This place is so unusual, it’s a three-bed semi-detached property in Cheshire going for £185k,” the account says.

“Oh my days I don’t know where to look, what is going on in this living room. There are literally beer cans all stuck to the wall, you’ve got Stella Artois, Fosters from about 2007. And then there are loads of random bottles glued to the ceiling.

“Not only that, they have got beer cans stuck around the TV, bottle caps everywhere and a football table. Sorry this place is absolutely insane. There are also some binoculars looking out of the window, England flags hanging down from the ceiling.”

They added: “The more you look through the property the crazier it gets. What is all of that junk doing in the kitchen. Honestly I have so many questions, why is there a chandelier with a candle on top of it, a TV balanced on a speaker. I just genuinely don’t know where to look. “The absolute cheek of them to say it’s an ideal family home.
