A celebration of Italian garden produce in Soho

After December’s carousel of roast meats and indulgences, a menu focused on vegetables takes on a particular appeal. Starting January 8, Soho restaurant Bocca di Lupo will serve a selection of dishes inspired by the herbs and vegetables that thrive in Italy in winter, made with recipes from chef and patron Jacob Kenedy and Rome-based food writer Rachel Roddy. It starts with the restaurant’s signature anchovy and sage leaf fritti, continues with fried artichokes, a puntarelle salad, a chicory and Taleggio cheese lasagna and, to finish, spiced apple strudel with pine nuts and served with cream. Opened at the Loft Art Gallery in Marrakech, the latest exhibition by Belgian-Moroccan photographer Mous Lamrabat is appropriately titled Nostalgic. When thinking about his new series of lithographs, Stefan Marx was drawn to the realm of the night. “The night can be so magical, awake or asleep,” says the Berlin-based artist, known for his works based on texts and illustrations. “Sometimes I look forward to it.” The resulting series of six prints, which will be exhibited at Zurich printmaking association Edition VFO and available for purchase in editions of 15, explore different ways of thinking about the hours between sunset and sunrise. A monograph celebrating the legacy of Jil Sander

Over the course of her five-decade career, Jil Sander’s take on pure minimalism and clean lines has shaped not only the way we dress, but also the world of design at large, from logos to store interiors. retail stores. The Compton Arms debuts its new residence

All good things must come to an end. Tiella’s Dara Klein is closing her cult Italian-style kitchen in north London’s Compton Arms pub, but the news is tempered by the announcement of a new residence. Led by three chefs (Jay Claus, Syrus Pickhaver and Peter Ward), Rake combines 30 years in the industry at restaurants such as Quo Vadis, BRAT and Acme Fire Cult. Satwant Singh “Sat” Bains opened his eponymous restaurant under an A52 flyover on the outskirts of Nottingham in 1999, focusing on seasonal British cuisine.
