  1. "Sol" is doing a lot of heavy lifting as a name — we went from GPT versions to vibes-based branding faster than I expected… next one's probably called GPT 5.7 Pebble or something equally zen.

  2. Claude disregards the agent's instructions and isn't trustworthy. If he won't even follow orders, I don't even want to know what else he might be doing that he shouldn't be.

  3. The speed of iteration here is unreal. For anyone who wants the agent experience (browser control, terminal, file automation) on Mac without waiting for each OpenAI release, CopperRiver does this with open-source models locally. Same agentic loop idea, just no cloud round-trip.

  4. "One really good contractor who goes very slow but gets the job done right… and then bills you twice as much as you expected". Yeah that's pretty much my experience with Claud.

  5. Ever get an answer back from your AI that was so
good you just wanted to bang it? Holy cow, that
just happened to me. I was literally aroused by
how good it's answer was. What does it mean?

  6. If Ultra Mode is leaning on sub-agents to win benchmarks, how will OpenAI make sure that speed and cost gains don’t come with more hidden shortcutting or reliability issues?
