First, invest in Rubbermaid Brilliance containers. They come in plastic and glass, but you can do the research.
And, I kid you not, they keep all sorts of things fresh in a way I've never seen before with containers. It's the seal mechanism. But more expensive, but definitely worth it.
Even if it's a dressed salad, they are amazing. Far better than what I saw you used.
Second, always keep the dressing on the side if you know you have a picky eater.
Third…my daughter is also a picky eater and hates salad. But, toss her some chicken nuggets or strips and she's all over it. So frustrating at times! She's 21 and still hasn't grown out of it, so good luck!
