In sha Allah my daughter will be one day a proper believer a proper muslima she is nearly four und we are visuting at the weekend together the mosque and she is playing there with other children other sisters and brothers how she describes it … yes she also goes to the Kindergarten but never ever she told that there would be sisters and brothers of her
My relation with my parents is not so great right now my dads always been absent and my mums always been overworked as the sole provider and carer for us so they naturally split currently and I’ve always been really attached to my mum but when a person goes through a lot of pain they naturally change. However there was a version of my mum in my childhood who single-handedly went to work brought us up islamically taught us all the kaalmas Islamic stories, the importance of tawakul she genuinely tried her best used to take me and my brothers Thorpe park everywhere. Even though it was a small part of life but the beautiful memories have been ingrained in me and is the reason why I feel so connected to Allah(swa). So even if she isn’t her best version anymore and I don’t have any family to be emotionally dependent on she gave me Allah(swa) at such a young age that I never feel alone and i can never hate her or even my dad because her love was always enough for us. I wish more parents can genuinely try a little because even that small fragment will last a lifetime with a child and help them stay guided.
