My parents are strict but not too strict I’m allowed to go outside but I have to always ask like a thousand times in advance and I have to text them like every hour plus I have to be exactly on time if I’m just a few minutes late they get mad but the rest of it is true

I have insanely strict parents, and I was the least favorite child. when I was born they were fine with having a baby but they wanted a boy because before I was born, they had a miscarriage and the doctor said it was going to be a boy. so, they were hoping for a boy but got a girl. (me) they were fine with it until my brother was born. right after my brother was born, I was expected to be the janitor of the house since I was 7 years old and to take care of him since I was 6. If my brother wanted something I was expected to give it up immediately and buy anything he wanted (even if it was with my own money) if he wanted it. And how they treated me gave me severe depression from the age of 10 to now. I always had a fear of lying because I was scared abt the consequences and I have a really hard time coming out to ppl because my parents made me think no one will care for me.
I just wanna say that if u area a strict parents DONT BE I am going to tell u why i am still a child but I always hide stuff doing things that are “ NOT ALLOWED “ and I hate it

Couldn't agree more. After I turned 5 and my parents had another kid My parents began acting different to the point that they would make me sleep outside no matter the weather. eventually I learned everything To the point I knew every single movement in the house and what It meant.
my parents keep yelling at me because i have B's instead of A's, my dad said "what's wrong with having A''s" my mom keeps threatening to take away "privileges" because its obviously distracting me from having perfect grades, i wish i could make this up, no matter how fake it sounds its 100% reality for me
I went to the doctor. My heart rate was REALLY high. As soon a my dad left and they checked again They asked "is your dad toxic? Your heart rate dropped after he left?"
I can tell which of my family members are walking by their steps. My parents don't even let me go to a sleepover with a girl they have met multiple times, just because they "don't know her parents". We understand they are teying to protect us, but it's to much. I am the youngest and only girl so it makes sense, but they even put me in soccor and karate before, so I'm fine.
