Clovis, California (KFSN) – With more than 250 beer recipes that turn in 17 taps, the owner of Machinehead Brewing Co. Rob Arabian serves the artisanal beer enthusiast.
The family brewery and operated located on Palo Alto and Fairfax avenues in Clovis opened in 2020.
“We have always focused on craft beer, and we have always tried to innovate and overcome what we can do because we love it,” Arabian said.
The IPA and Sours are the tested and true recipes that first place the machine machine on the map.
Those remain food, but as the taste papillae sink Pilsners and Lagers, the main brewer says that the offerings are expanding.
“We have an Italian Pilsner right there and an American beer in the tank,” Arabian said.
Clovis Brewer says that innovation and community collaboration are key to maintaining its doors open.
In addition to associating with California Breweries for limited releases, you will notice special events with local food trucks and artists.
“We always want to support the place and continue with local groups and organizations so that we can run the voice and consciousness for both,” said Arabian.
For the first time in almost two decades, the Association of Cerveceros tracked more beer closures than openings throughout the country. The year 2024 in beer shows 335 breweries opened with almost 400 closures.
Arabian says that the state of the economy, the cost of public services and the cost of goods are contributing factors.
“We are always using the best ingredients, so we pay a premium above that,” he said.
Knowing that it also affects customers: prices have remained the same in Machinehead. Arabian has also introduced short spills at a lower price.
“We are blue -neck workers, so we go to the edible store, seeing the exorbitant price of things, so we know how difficult it hurts,” he said.
Those collaborations of the brewery were noticed to the machine throughout the state. You will find Rob and his team making Tap acquisitions in the cities of the Bay and Central Coast.
Machinehead is open Wednesday to Sundays.
