Tech Weekly: How McLaren is making a difference in the intriguing Aerodynamics race 2025 of F1

Aerodynamic load, aerodynamic efficiency and aerodynamic balance through the speed range of a circuit are the three main determinants of competitiveness, and in the five races to date we have seen an emerging pattern among the four best cars.

The McLaren seems to have the best combination of these; The Red Bull cannot retain its aerodynamic balance through the long -term corners, but in the circuits that adapt, it can be very competitive; The Mercedes and Ferrari seem to have good aerodynamic efficiency, but the Ferrari has traits similar to Red Bull, a difficult balance through the corner and a narrow speed range.
