The owner of a small company opens a food truck in Henderson Walmart after sharing challenges

After an owner of a Las Vegas food truck shared the challenges faced by small businesses trying to operate a mobile business throughout the region, chef Robert Stewart said several people offered him solutions.

“Although we had great names like the Super Bowl, Nascar, the base of the Nellis Air Force, we could not manage the operational costs of a food truck day by day.” Chef Robert Stewart saying. “Thanks to you (news 3), after transmitting the story, we received a call from Walmart,”

Stewart said Walmart’s offer in Henderson was a gift from heaven, but did not arrive without a new set of challenges.

“We had a soft openness on Valentine’s Day and we were beginning to make movements, people were excited, and then, a couple of days later, we built some impulse and then boom, it happens again only to discover the permission that ‘Stew Stix’ had to be good for the city of Las Vegas, not necessarily Henderson, and that was another process that we had to start,” he said.

The chef has for a long time said he returned to the first step.

“We had to obtain another fire inspection, we had to obtain another commercial license, we had to print a fingers, give blood the whole yards to be able to operate again, but we lost six days of income, we lost six days of marketing, we lost six days of personnel.”

After obtaining the appropriate commercial documents with the city of Henderson, chef Stew and its crew celebrate the great inauguration of ‘Stew’s Stix‘Food truck in your new home.

This week he opened for business at Henderson Walmart in American Pacific Drive.

“I understand the flight of the city to make sure that everyone is prepared for the code and doing what they are expected, but at the same time that an owner of a food truck has to be a better way we can do it collectively,” said Stewart.

To help owners of small businesses such as chef stew, Assemblyman Reuben d’Ilva said he is working on a bill That would allow mobile business owners to acquire a commercial license, which would be valid from city to city from all over the county.
