TREMAYNE: From Hawthorn to Hamilton: the exclusive club of British Ferrari winners

There was a very British flavor on the podium in Catalonia on June 14, when Lewis Hamilton, George Russell and Lando Norris became the first three Britons to stand on one since Jackie Stewart brought Graham Hill and John Surtees home in the 1968 United States Grand Prix at Watkins Glen.

This is a rather extraordinary statistic, given the success of British drivers in F1 in the intervening years.
