Uber has appointed its first operations director since 2019, since executive director Dara Khosrowshahi shakes senior leadership and loosen her control over the transport company.
Andrew Macdonald, Chief of Mobility of Uber, has been appointed president and director of operations with immediate effect, according to public presentations. It will be the second in command of the company, responsible for supervising the sides of mobility and delivery of business of the business.
Macdonald, who joined Uber in 2012 and is known by colleagues like Mac, will directly inform Khosrowshahi. It will be responsible for the company’s autonomous business, as well as its membership service.

A former Uber executive told The Financial Times that it was not clear what Khosrowshahi could do then if he were going to move from his current position.
