ive been using "its not x its y" since i was real small, cus i found its very good for getting my way cus it tends to calm whatever fires are burning in other peoples heads- and ive also always used "i dont say this lightly" whenever im about to say something usually seen as negative, or hateful, like "i dont say this lightly, you have an anger management problem"
