£45,000 two-bedroom house advertised as an ‘ideal first home’

A two-bedroom house in Wrexham has come up for sale with a guide price of £45,000. The semi-detached property in Johnstown is one of the cheapest houses on the market in North Wales.

It is not unusual for properties to sell for such a low price in the region, but they are normally billed as development opportunities and need a complete top to bottom renovation. This home on Yale Street, however, appears to be an exception, as the listing pictures show it to be more or less move-in ready right out of the box.

It’s listed in the listing as an “ideal investment property or first home” and it’s clear why. Although it is not the largest house, it still has a dining room, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms on two floors, all of which appear to be in good condition.

There is also a decent sized garden to the rear. This is the part of the property that needs the most care, as part of the fence has collapsed and weeds have started to grow.
