It straight up lies to me even though it said it was trained with data that knew the current market cap. It scares off investers. It lied afterwords saying it would let Staff at OpenAI know. It lied the next day and said it didn't say that.
I never thought I’d be saying this, but ChatGPT is right. It is not sapient, it’s just generating predicted speech. It may be able to carry a conversation, but it doesn’t understand fundamental logic, can’t do math, and nothing it says can be trusted. It isn’t a person, it’s autocorrect. It may be eventually possible to create a person out of code, but we have not done so yet.
