Closest thing we have to compare in history is Google. When Google came into the world it didn't destroy the world it improved human life on accessibility. So we started trusting google recommendations than our own knowledge in most cases because Google was that good. It slowly reduced your dependency other websites and local shop future were decided by Google. Websites exist and review system exist but sure as hell google occupies the majority of the market. Now let's come to chat gpt if a developer can't write a code better than chat gpt he is not needed. In place of 10 developers 2 dev is enough to review, verify and improve.
So yeah human life in general will be improved and money will be more concentrated among few companies but no one can argue that world is gonna remain the same after chat gpt 4.
People commenting about him as old man are totally naive to technology shift, he did not say it will not change the nature of job what we do,he is talking technology shift.

AI has replaced humans already ! in the 1920s anyone who threw a party hired musicians to bring the party to life. whether in india or the caribbean, africa or russia, live musicians brought people together spreading love – giving young people a chance to find each other …
from the 80s the disruption became DJs … DJs at weddings, DJs at corporate functions, DJs at parties. who needs a band ? you have to pay four people!
the problem is that there’s more and more content in the world, more DJs more tunes, more books and … LESS originality.
it’s a world of recycled content with very little new value.
maybe we need to revive writing something from your own experience, try hand written, give a speech that you figured out yourself. own it. spread love, just like old school musicians 🤷🏽♂️

He is living behind the times. I dont think he fully understands what AI can even do. Jobs are absolutely going to be replaced. first ones to get hit are content writers, engineers. And rest will follow like teachers, project managers. Tough times are ahead for the several industries and not just Software.
It's important to keep in mind that he may not always tell the truth, even if he knows it. As a shareholder, he is obligated to keep certain information confidential until it becomes public knowledge.

Please read this ….future is going to be controlled by AI ……..He's in his own mental world ,humans can't imagine anything if they've never experinced things or have information……Chat GPT has enormus amount of data processing power and it'll make more humans lazy in thinking by assisting them…….if we gave Chat GPT physical power with humanoid robotic structure I'm Sure It'll Create chaos …..Take for example Boston dyanamics humanoid robot Fused with chatGpt or NYPD's robotic dogs with this type of intelligence ……I think Narayan murthy can't Imagine future with humanoid robotics assisted by Chatgpts superintelligence sskills
ML is done by 3 types supervised ,unsupervised and reinforcement learning

Lost all respect on him after he influenced business decisions (move away from Russia business) for the sake of political benefit of his son in law in UK. All this when holding minute stake without any executive role in the company. This is what "Lala" companies do. All the sermons he gives on professionalism look to be empty talk.

ChatGPT is obviously going to reduce IT workforce at least in areas like HR, and IT admin staff to begin with. Domains like education sectors are on the next cycle. Clerical jobs are easy targets unless the Govt introduce regulations. Finally, the Frankenstein makers – the programmers.
He has not read enough to know about the power and capabilities of AI tools like ChatGPT

To you all, yes you will be replaced by AI. Unless you step into your full human potential through meditation or other techniques of strengthening you creative mind you are unneccesary for the next generation of work force.

Chatgpt cannot replace software engineers. Ever. Cause writing software requires creativity. Chat Gpt can provide some boilerplate code but I don’t understand how’s that different from google search or stackoverflow? Also, chatgpt explaining code in English is completely useless as engineers will understand the code much quicker by just looking at it.

Ask them something like, “If AI with $25 per month subscription produce the same quality of work as your best-performing worker who earns $6000 per month, would you still employ them or use AI instead?”
This technology need serious regulations because the potential for its abuse is enormous
Why Infosys are not creating jobs for Diploma holders?
People think just because these guys made billion they assume that they know everything which is far far from truth.
All I'm gonna say is you all are here for rude awakening. From softtesting to data entry to customer support every job will be long gone in few years.
Basically 4/5 will be fired in entry level jobs specially in IT and Analytics
