  1. I am a 150+ memory entry user before the upgrade. They gave me extra memory based on being a power user. Give good feedback and they will hook you up with extra memory. Bet you guys didn't know that.

  2. I’ve had persistent memory for months now. Created my own language to compress data to 650:1. Then made it remember the codex and was able to save everything into 1 slot. Plus you can increase all metrics of the ai and stack all the upgrades. I’m not going to say anything else… 😎🤓

  3. I have it turned on and i can't get it to work. I've tried prompting it, mentioning past ideas, etc. And it only is pulling from the old stored memory vault not past chats. When i ask gpt about it it said the system might nudge it to answer differently depending on past chats but it basically only effects weights and probabilities and doesn't really give true fact or info recall. If anybody has any prompt or test ideas please help 😮

  4. Of course, this is only available in limited geographical areas, but that's actually a feature, because it is something that needs to be shut off.
The more ChatGPT knows about you, the less privacy you're left with.

  5. It work, but imperfect. It only recalls the last time conversation from the past scenario instead of last entire conversation page, well I understand that, it’s still in developing stage

  6. TIPS:
    – Use focused, topic-specific discussion chats or task-specific execution chats
    – Align chats to Projects
    – Define objects with types/categories/tags
    – Use XML/JSON tagging for structure
(These types of practices lead to clearer, more concise conceptual organization of context for GPT to retrieve across chats.)

Man, I’ve been waiting for this!
We’re now defining expanding concentric circles of scope for context.
They call it “memory", but it’s really context sharing by semantic proximity across all your chats.

This memory applies to content that appears inside the chat window — not uploaded files.
If you upload context files, you will need to surface it into the chat or at least have ChatGPT summarize it in the chat to be available across chats.
That also means uploaded files can be used to containerize scoped context within a project or individual chat to keep it targeted.

This will allow us to save master data as JSON in a “Table Manager” chat.
It becomes your single source of truth while other chats reference that data — essentially using ChatGPT as a modest-sized database without any code or SQL.

And create global command prompts, menus, and input/output templates usable from any chat. The building blocks of conversational but structured functionality that is code-less, language-less, and app-less.
