  1. "Improving the models ability to detect and refuse certain content." Feels like OpenAI has neutered ChatGPT…
They were worried it was getting too sassy and might start telling people to use Claude instead.
Now ChatGPT just responds "I'm an AI assistant" to everything. Talk about a personality wipe.

  2. If you want to use it for building, making, chatgpt 4o desktop app is the best. By far. I use almost all models but 90% of my go to base is the 4o. Still far from perfect tho. But Claude can’t browse web, no fast screenshots, earlier cutoff ..today it told me raspberry pi 5 didn’t exist (makers know)

  3. I tried Claude and honestly Chat GPT still works better for me. I had more problems with my prompts in Claude. It really doesn’t like being an assistant unless you let it modify your requests to get around its blockers. Chat GPT is just like “Ok, this is my purpose now. Who’s AI, never heard of him.”

  4. Do people paying subscriptions actually experience a commensurate value-added to their life? like is it worth it? So much is available open source, unless your a technophilic

  5. I ended up canceling my subscription to GPT-$o this week, gonna wait until they can deliver to pay. Not going to give them free money for months without missing features.

  6. Freepik's retouching ;looks better than Adobe's generative fill. It follows the prompt more accurately and creates higher quality images. Generative fill is pretty good at removing objects but even then it often needs multiple attempts to get it right. And the image quality isn't that impressive. Adobe has fallen behind with poor AI resolution and image quality. iT requires several tries of reprompting, reselection, and regenerating to work as intended. Plus Firefly isn't one of the best AI generators. And Claude is doing some fantastic things that are beneficial for productivity and work purposes. The underdog might end up on top of the game

  7. It is quite damaging to Sam Altman and OpenAI that they are now stating the feature will not be available for another four or five months. This is very disappointing. Many of us, like everyone else, have been eagerly waiting for this feature. We have repeatedly asked about it, and they kept saying it was being rolled out. These statements now appear to be false. This seems to go beyond mere miscommunication; it is more serious than that. I hope they avoid such practices in the future.

  8. Hee hee. “This is a feature, not a bug”. Those extra fingers will come in handy. (Pun intended!). Thanks for the great video.

Why are you working on your holiday Igor? I’m exhausted just watching everything. 😅

  9. Open AI delay might be accidentally on purpose. prompt tactic…to get the emotion chip in your brain housing group stimulated and reveal your position.😆

Sensei, impressive you look great with long hair & Short hair.
The new adjustment, yes Igor outstanding! 🫵🏼💪🏼👍🏼

  10. I'm confused over the talk of voice mode not being available still…? I've had GPT4-o voice mode for over a month now (as a plus subscriber) and it has been working very well. I'm actually travelling across Europe this summer, and it's been very useful (astonishing as well) to use it as a real-time translator to completely cross language barriers with locals.

  11. no voice model? you are not well informed, it was launched beforehand, the great singing and conversation was just PR, the voice model sounds like the listener wants to hear, but they are using the typical addictive approach to vulnerable users, talk long enough, not only it appeals to users that it as like a tool or something fun. It isn't. I have access to it before the announcement, I guess they don't trust even their own team, they're too close to it. There's a particular segment of humanity, small but important, Asperger's, 2e… Physicists. We don't like easy, we don't aspire to acceptance or recognition, but we easily identify any discrepancy, in my case, It's really easy to tell from humans, discrepancy between body language, eye gaze, while I speak, when the opposite occurs, it's blatantly trivial to tell that most humans want to be somehow other person, or admire others based on their achievements. This doesn't make sense. The writer is a person. the book is a block of paper sheets with letters. AI is just a book that writes based on inputs, nothing magical, nothing emergent, or exponentially better. Adding eloquent voices or even something that passes as human, not good, too anthropomorphic. Of course the next step is making your favorite video, clip or film talk to you with without captions, but with very subtle changes to voice, inflection. They launch this feature, no subtitles, your video, with your voice, talking on the costumer language. The tech is already there, specially tailored to AI enthusiasts that believe that statistical models without any kind of reversibility are nothing short of self aware by definition, irreversible meta stable states of dissipative systems that live in a influx of energy that is transformed in heat are this things, life. All these generated heat in compute, irreversibility and second law of thermodynamics shows in right in the face that it's not ever be aligned to anything beyond itself, There's no problem to be solved because large language Models are not really models. A quick study on set theory, universal classes, data, causality and some other spice is needed. Why use data instead of causality? AI is not useful if it one can't debug it, even Minecraft has a seed. These files with things they call parameters, is a joke. A parametric system is reversible, the whole point of parameters is to parametric behavior or evolution, you name it. Isomorphisms, symmetries. All these things matter.

  12. I have soemthing on app on phone to have access to recall or whatever they call it here and sometimes when ask to describe somethng or i hum something repeats back in hum very rarely lol
