OFFICIAL DRAW: Who starts where for Sunday’s Monaco Grand Prix after local hero Leclerc’s grid penalty


Qualifying in Monte Carlo couldn’t have been closer, with Max Verstappen taking pole position in the kill, beating Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso by just 0.084s. That was after Verstappen’s Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez crashed out in Q1.

And there was more drama after the session, with those of Ferrari Charles Leclerc demoted from P3 to P6 on the grid for impeding McLaren’s Lando Norris, leaving Carlos Sainz’s second scarlet car to line up on row two alongside Esteban Ocon, who scores his first top-three start for Alpine.
