Pret A Manger has signed on to occupy space at The Springs shopping and entertainment center in Thorpe Park Leeds.
The coffee and sandwich chain has agreed to a ten-year lease to occupy a prominent 2,261-square-foot unit adjacent to Caffé Nero and across from JD Sports.
The Springs deal represents one of the brand’s first forays into an ‘out of town’ location in the UK.
Rachel Vickers, Senior Business Manager at Scarborough Group International (SGI), developer and asset manager of The Springs and Thorpe Park Leeds, said: “The Springs continues to perform exceptionally well as a destination, attracting high traffic due to its location and accessibility.
“The new East Leeds orbital route has given this a tremendous boost along with our free car parking, and the upcoming train station as well as new housing development will only help attract stronger brands to our community.” .
The announcement follows the expansion of the opening of Loungers food and bar group in The Springs Leeds. Other recent openings include Dunelm, Betty Loves Candles, and the Elan Laser Clinic.
Outlets at The Springs include Next, Boots, M&S, TK Maxx, The Range, H&M, Pure Gym and Nandos.
