apple music
Apple Music is the audiophile’s choice in our The best streaming services guide because the entire library of over 90 million songs is available in lossless format and you get immersive 3D sound with albums tuned in Dolby Atmos. It has a great iPhone app and Siri support, but the Android app is fine and we’re not fans of the desktop app. Social playlist curation and sharing doesn’t quite match our favorite service, Spotify, but the gap is closing. AppleTV+
With a focus on quality over quantity, Apple TV+ doesn’t compete with the massive libraries offered by Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu, and deserves its place on our list. The best streaming services guide. It’s light on movies, though there are highlights, like Macbeth’s tragedy, wolf walkersand Finch. But the real draw to Apple TV+ is must-see hit shows like Breaking off, Base, Ted Lasso, and the morning program, and also has excellent music documentaries. Everything is offered in 4K with HDR, and no, you don’t need a Apple TV to watch content on Apple TV+.
apple arcade
Closing three years since its launch, the Apple Arcade’s impact on mobile gaming it is not yet clear. What is not up for debate is the fact that it offers some of the best mobile games No ads or in-app purchases. There are over 200 titles in Apple Arcade now, many of them exclusive. Some of our favorites include mini highways, sayonara wild hearts, foxy sasquatch, Bloons TD6and ride with care.
iCloud+
Everyone gets 5GB of iCloud storage space for free, but it soon fills up with device backups, photos, and videos. You can upgrade to iCloud+ to get 50GB, 200GB, or 2TB, and each option supports family sharing. There are many alternative cloud storage services They work fine with Apple devices, but iCloud is tightly integrated. Besides the extra space, another reason to upgrade to iCloud+ is HomeKit Secure Video. that allows HomeKit security cameras and video doorbells to record 10 days of activity, viewable in the Home app. The 50GB plan supports a single camera, the 200GB plan covers up to five cameras, and the 2TB plan supports unlimited cameras. These HomeKit videos don’t count toward your iCloud storage limit. Every iCloud+ subscription also includes private relaywhich encrypts your Safari web browsing, and hide my emailwhich gives you unique and random email addresses to use when you prefer to keep yours private.
Apple News+
If you love reading great magazines like (ahem) WIRED, National Geographic, the new yorker, Time, People, Fashion, Rolling Stoneand popular scienceor newspapers like The Wall Street Journal and Los Angeles Times, you can find them and much more, from start to finish, in the News app with an Apple News+ subscription. The service saves you from paywalls, features elegant presentation, and offers curation based on your interests. On the downside, it doesn’t include everything:The New York Times and the washington post they are famous for not being available. It also only works on Apple devices.
Apple+ Fitness
Training subscription services became popular in the beginning of the pandemic, since people could no longer visit the gym. Apple Fitness+ offers various types of exercises, from yoga to strength training, audio-guided walks and runs, and meditations, along with plenty of real-time metrics. It works through the Fitness app on an iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV and requires a apple watch series 3 or newer. You can read more about in our review, but the service has since expanded. (Apple adds about 30 new workouts and meditations every week.)
