  1. The amount of computing a computer has to do today to process a single prompt is negligible. If you were to measure how much heat it generates, it would probably be like 5 calories or less (amount of heat required to heat a milliliter of water by 5 Celsius)

  2. If it were true then would be no water left. We have so many data centres. They use the water. It's just bad for the aquatic species but that's a other debate.

  3. This claim is misleading. AI models like ChatGPT do use water for cooling data centers, but it's not one full water bottle per query. Studies estimate about 500 mL (half a bottle) per 20-50 queries, depending on efficiency. Spreading exaggerated numbers like this only creates unnecessary panic instead of real awareness. If you care about sustainability, focus on real data and solutions instead of fear-mongering. Do better!

  4. Matter can't be destroyed or created bro, that's the oldest rule in Chemistry, the water at most is probably turning into gas and goes back to liquid form at one point.

  5. Pretty sure the water is in a circuit with no evaporation. Like do people with PC water cooling keep pumping new water into their PC from the river outside, no 😂
